The Consise Surgery Review Material

The Concise Surgery Review Manual for the ABSITE & Boards

The goal of this book is to provide a single source of reference for surgical rotations and to act as a foundation for preparing for surgery in-service and board exams. It represents notes gathered during academic lectures and numerous readings in preparation for the surgical in-service test as well as the written and oral boards. It was compiled over the course of seven years. The information provided here should only be used as a guide and should not be used in place of clinical judgement. For examination reasons, italicised information is regarded exceptionally high-yield. Purple text indicates mneumonics that could be useful. Oral board themes that are frequently mentioned are highlighted in purple. The author has no direct association with SCORE, the American Board of Surgery, or the American College of Surgeons, despite the fact that this review follows the SCORE curriculum in general.
